Taylor R. Pollei, MD

Fellowship Trained Facial Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Pollei is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Brigham Young University where he graduated with a degree in Neuroscience and Spanish. He then earned his MD degree graduating from the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical School Honor Society. This was followed by five years of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ.

Upon residency completion he was selected to spend an additional training year in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This fellowship year was completed with Dr. Edwin Williams in Albany, NY. This highly sought after fellowship opportunity was spent focusing on cosmetic facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, facial reconstruction & trauma, and practice management training. Notably, Dr. Williams served as president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery during the 2015 to 2016 year.

Following his training, Dr. Pollei and his family moved to southern California where his wife was born and raised. They have three children, and enjoy finally being back home and near family.

There are many surgeons and no perfect procedure for every single patient. It is not simply the outcome, but the entire experience that matters. This ability to sit down, truly understand a patient’s wishes, educate, and exceed expectations is what truly sets Dr. Pollei apart from the rest.
